Trying the Social Media Kool-Aid


I’ve said in a previous post that the DoingMedia blog isn’t ALWAYS about creating or producing media. I think the “people” aspect of the media process is most important. Connecting and networking with others is a great way to learn, find resources, get work or give work.

So on that note I thought this article from the New York Times might be helpful for those who haven’t stuck their toe in the social media kool-aid. (How’s that for mixing metaphors!) Here’s the excerpt:
