Busy Spring on the Conference Trail

I’m getting ready to attend SXSW Interactive this week in Austin. I’m a SXSW virgin so I’m going to sessions, parties, mixers, whatever. Looking to meet some cool people and learn a bunch.
I speak at the Content Convergence and Integration conference in Vancouver, BC on Wednesday, March 12. My session is “User Generated Rich Media: Make It, Manage It“. That should be fun. I have some distinct ideas about UGC that I hope to share.
In April I pilgrimage to Las Vegas for the NAB show. I haven’t been in more than 10 years. I’m looking for information on HD prodiuction and internet distribution.
Then in May it’s off to Vancouver again where I have another speaking gig at DocTrainWest2008. My topic up there is “When Words Are Not Enough: Rich Media for Training and Documentation.” This will be a kind of how to for non-media types. UPDATE: Here is the presentation, blogged: Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3.
I’ll post the presentations here and condense the session topics into some kind of post.
I’ve been teaching speaking for a long time and really enjoy the interaction. My sessions are typically around media strategy and production with some social media and bleeding edge stuff thrown in. If you’re interested in having me speak at an upcoming conference just drop me a line!
